Jesus’ real “promise” or message was about humanity being grafted into the tree of life through the blood of Jesus (Luke 22:20, Matthew 26:28). Satan, just as he did in the Garden of Eden, is one again tempting humanity with Godlike powers and Illumination (the tree of knowledge).
